Producer representation

One agreement opens the markets we cover — Europe and the UK, the Americas, the Gulf, Asia and Africa — without building your own export desk. You produce and ship; the desk markets, contracts and pays as one counterparty.

The track, in five steps

  1. Introduction. Company profile, product range, capacity and current certifications — through the application form or sales@gidex.com.
  2. Production standards review. We audit before we represent: quality certificates, production and QC processes, specification consistency — with a site inspection where the product warrants it.
  3. Sample verification. Product samples are tested against specification by independent surveyors or laboratories, not taken on trust.
  4. Distribution agreement. Territories, volumes, pricing mechanism and exclusivity terms fixed in a written agreement — the commercial rules are set before the first cargo.
  5. Market launch. The desk markets your output across its coverage and contracts in its own name: buyers deal with GIDEX, you are paid by one counterparty.

What verification buys you

Verification is not a formality — it is the desk's sales argument. Buyers accept cargoes from producers we represent because the standards have been checked before representation, samples tested independently, and every later shipment inspected at loading and discharge. A verified producer inherits that trust with the first cargo.

The desk currently represents production across fertilisers, metals and agricultural raw materials — see the trading desk for the full commodity coverage.

Questions

Producer representation: frequently asked

What does producer representation involve?

Introduction, a production-standards review, independent sample verification, a written distribution agreement fixing territories, volumes, pricing mechanism and exclusivity, and then market launch across the desk's coverage.

Do you audit a producer before representing them?

Yes — that is the point of representation. We review quality certificates, production and QC processes and specification consistency, with a site inspection where the product warrants it.

Are product samples tested?

Samples are tested against specification by independent surveyors or laboratories, not taken on trust.

Who does the end buyer contract with?

With GIDEX. The desk markets your output and contracts in its own name, so buyers deal with one counterparty and you are paid by one counterparty.

Which markets does one agreement open?

Europe and the UK, the Americas, the Gulf, Asia and Africa — the markets the desk covers — without the producer building its own export desk.
