Where each company is registered, what it is licensed to do, and how the group is managed.
GIDEX Group is held by Aurelius Foundation — a private foundation established under the RAK ICC Foundations Regulations (United Arab Emirates). The Foundation serves as the group’s long-term ownership and governance framework: it holds the shares of the group’s holding and operating companies, keeps ownership separate from day-to-day management, and provides continuity of control and succession planning across the group.
The Foundation does not conduct commercial or operational activities itself and does not provide services to the public. Its governance framework — founder, council and independent supervisory oversight — sits above the group’s operating management, so counterparties deal with licensed operating companies while long-term control remains with a neutral, stable structure.
Every operating business within the group holds its own licence in the jurisdiction where it works — trading and corporate services in the United Arab Emirates, distribution and resource operations in East Africa, development structures for specific projects. Licence details are provided to counterparties in the course of onboarding and due diligence.
GIDEX Group trades physical commodities and invests its own capital in its own operating businesses. The group does not manage third-party assets, does not offer investment products and does not provide financial services requiring a financial services licence.
