MOP: muriate of potash

What the desk supplies

Muriate of potash (mop, 60% k₂o) in bulk and big bags, sourced from producers whose standards the desk has verified. Contracted parameters typically cover potassium content, moisture and grade (standard or granular). Every parameter is fixed in the contract and verified by independent surveyors at loading and at discharge — specifications are contractual, not aspirational.

How a cargo moves

1. Enquiry. Specification, volume, destination and target terms — through the enquiry form or sales@gidex.com.
2. Counterparty onboarding. Mutual know-your-counterparty and sanctions screening — once, at the start of the relationship.
3. Quotation. A costed offer: price basis, incoterms, laycan, inspection scope and payment structure.
4. Contract. Spot, term or offtake; documents and payment structure fixed before cargo moves.
5. Delivery & settlement. Independent inspection at both ends, clean documents, agreed settlement through the group's UAE banking.
